Fatca Services
What is the Fatca?
Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act is a US law concerning US citizens who own financial assets in non-US countries and against all non-US financial institutions that deal with US citizens.
Why the Fatca?
To prevent American citizens from hiding financial assets abroad from the tax authorities.
How does the Fatca work?
Forcing foreign financial institutions to locate American citizens and submit financial data on their businesses. Since American citizens are required by law to submit their American declaration and FBARs even if resident abroad, as a consequence of FATCA, accounts belonging to American citizens are emerging, which however can, under certain conditions, regularize their position through the amnesties available.
I am a US citizen, how can I regularize my position? The regularization procedure involves some steps that are not too complicated, but it is essential to proceed in an orderly and precise manner, in order to avoid compromising the success of the amnesty.
